Spring 2019 Textile and Care Guide

Please note - our textiles are NOT pre shrunk, so please follow the washing instructions below to preserve the original size of your garment. We utilize mostly natural fibers, which will generally shrink when washed in warm water or dried with heat.

Ivory

Hand wash cold water hang dry or dry clean.

Iron or steam after garment is completely dry.

Raw silk is so easy to care for and wear.  This textile has a nubby, matte texture more akin to a cotton.  Raw silk is great for travel!

Maroon

(Japan)

100% Cotton Oxford

Iron or steam after garment is completely dry.

This textile is similar to a twill in weight.  The color is a rich maroon, also described as brick red.

 Fog

This light weight textile has a traditional twill weave.  The color is a light blue/grey, cool toned.

Honey

Medium weight twill.  The color can be described as honey, a rich yellow/tan.

Lilac

Chambray is a yarn dyed textile where a colored yarn is woven with a white or natural yarn to create a "heathered" effect. 

Sand Check

100% Double Gauze

Machine wash or hand wash cold water and hang dry. 

Iron or steam after garment is completely dry.

This textile is a double gauze, which is two layers of light weight fabric "quilted" together to create an amazingly soft and comfortable fabric. 

This textile has an oversized checkerboard pattern woven into it, in a nice neutral tan shade.

Iron or steam after garment is completely dry.

Tencel is an amazing fabric.  It has incredible drape, and is a sustainably sourced and milled textile.  This particular fabric has an enzyme wash, which is a natural process that gives a "sueded" or softened hand. 

This color has a slight blue/green undertone. 

Black Rib Knit

35% Cotton

(medium weight)

Machine wash or hand wash cold water and hang dry. 

Iron or steam after garment is completely dry.

This fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear.  It is very stretchy due to the ribbed knit.

Sand Rib Knit

35% Organic Cotton

Iron or steam after garment is completely dry.

This colorway is not quite as heavy as the black rib knit. It has a good amount of stretch.
