In a rare moment on the other side of the camera, we want to introduce Tyler. He's the face behind the lens of many of our blog posts, and lends his discerning eye to our Tumblr.
Name and hometown:
My name is Tyler, and I come from San Luis Obispo, California
What makes you tick - interests, goals, etc:
Art is important. Fashion is important. I'm a people person and a wine drinker, preferably at the same time. I want to learn to speak French better, to go to Morocco, and for at least one person to compare me to Mary Kate or Ashley Olson at some point in my adult life.
Describe your personal style:
My closet is full of uniforms - white button down after white button down, black and white cotton tees, good denim, and a few 'special' pieces sprinkled about. I tend to buy garments I know I'll wear, not ones I wish I'll wear. Garments that are made well and age well, in style and in durability. The Yoko Jacket is functional, timeless, adaptable, and in-keeping with my most beloved and trusted possessions.
What are you wearing and why do you love it:
I'm wearing the Yoko Jacket over a cotton henley, with USA made jeans. I love this shirt because it's a beautiful, natural dye with mother of pearl buttons; It's really simple but you cannot miss the craftsmanship. These are one of my favorite pairs of jeans because they fit almost perfectly and look classic-cool with just about anything. The fabric in the jacket is one of my favorites of any REIFhaus piece - the navy is so striking and lends this outfit star-power.
