Meet Boramie, the newest member of the REIFhaus team. She joined our team very recently as a Studio Intern, assisting in production, shipping - you name it!
I'm from Long Beach, California.
What makes you tick - interests, goals, etc:
I'm interested in creative processes and the way we use it as a device to express ourselves - whether that is focused in music, photography, writing, cooking, fashion and art, etc. I'd like to pursue these different avenues in my life the way anyone would like to grow and evolve with anything they care about.
Describe your personal style:
My personal style has changed over time, but one thing I can say is that I am most comfortable in something I can wear every day, and not feel embarrassed for "repeating" the next day. I will always be attracted to denim, knits, prints, textures and color - things I can layer. I tend to veer towards timeless vintage pieces; a lot of my wardrobe has consisted of clothes from the 70s. I basically look like versions of my mom and dad when they were in their twenties.
What are you wearing and why do you love it:
I chose the Big Shirt Dress because it functions as so many different versions of itself - it's like a Swiss Army knife. It paired well with my favorite Levi's and sling back sandals, and the pockets make for a nice casual touch. I could have even unbuttoned it all the way and worn it as a duster!
If I felt like dressing it up, I'd ditch the jeans and put on some pumps and a nice overcoat. It's a timeless and versatile piece... which is key for anyone's wardrobe.
